Okay, so originally I was going to make a picspam in honor of Natascha's birthday that was over a week ago. Unfourtunately, time was an issue. But, then after seeing 2009 this, 2009 that - I knew it! I've had fandoms, ships, this and that in which I've found over the passed year... but what stuck with me is how much I've fallen in love with this actress. It all started with Karen, yes... but there is no Karen without Natascha. She is so beautiful, elegant, funny. And who doesn't love a good accent? ANYWAY. This could be a belated birthday present, but really it's Natascha McElhone and her year, in our eyes. I hope you all like it, and in time for Christmas ;)

Oy. Lost my Capitol One card.

Got a call from Bank of America from the fraud department. Someone's been using my card online (and charged a buttload of money!).

Really? A week without either credit card might do me some good though, right? Either way... both of their customer service agents were beyond sweet.

Ahhhh money, how you can truly fuck with life.

I'm still in an amazingly good mood however, and wanted to thank everyone for their wonderful cards and treats and gifts. They've really gotten my spirits up over the last week. You're all such wonderful people and I wish, from the bottom of my heart, that you all have a fantastic holiday season.

So I had to call the cops last night at 2am on the downstairs neighbors (surprise, surprise!). Their music was so loud that ornaments were falling off of our tree... Yeah, called them because well, it's 2am and turn the fucking music down... and the cops came and pounded on their door for a solid minute. A dude comes to the door and the cop gives him the standard "Turn the music down, it's 2am" speech and then I hear, "What's that behind your back?" (Something falls.) "That a knife that just... that's a knife. Don't like that you answered the door with a knife." The man then proceeds to tell the cops that he "thought he was someone else."

This is after we find a pool of blood and blood drops in the foyer on Saturday.

So I basically stayed up all night because I was terrified they'd find out it was us who called and come to the door. I told my father about it this morning and he whizzed off to get some crazy, police-grade oc spray that's used for riot control.

I'm so done with this; on top of it all (whine, whine, whine, here I go) I'm getting sick yet again. Runny nose, coughing, yadda. This is fine though, as I could give a flying fuck if I'm sick over the holidays. Just one more reason to stay in and away from people.

Bah... wait for it... humbug!

I just saw Men Who Stare at Goats and I have to say, hilarious. Really, really good. Smart, funny, George Clooney being George Clooney. Yes, yes. And I promised Samantha that I'd watch Dave today... so I have to do that.


...sorry I'm being so blah lately. I'm just not in the holiday spirit. But I just sent out the last wave of Christmas cards, so hopefully that will brighten some of your days!
